Seekonk officials previewed the May 11 Town Meeting warrant. Town Moderator Mike Durkee hosted Town Administrator Sean Kadeem, Superintendent Dr. Rebecca Kidwell and Town Planner John Aubin. Kadeem described a $76.6 million operating budget within the 2.5 percent levy limit, with schools up 3.25 percent and regional schools up 7.27 percent.
Kidwell presented $725,000 for pool HVAC, which the Select Board backed 3-2, and $975,000 for Martin Elementary paving and drainage. Aubin outlined a Route 195 billboard overlay district that the Planning Board recommended 4-1. Kadeem said capital items would draw $901,907 from the Municipal Capital Stabilization Fund.
