SEEKONK — The Zoning Board of Appeals approved a special permit for a seasonal baked-goods farm stand on Fort River Avenue. Petitioner Madison Ferrer-Ameral withdrew her appeal of the zoning determination, and the board then voted 5-0 to allow sales of cookies, muffins and sourdough from an existing 8-by-5-foot shed, with all sales kept inside. The permit is not limited to Sundays.
The board also continued the 36-unit Faith Christian Center comprehensive permit hearing at 95 Sagamore Road to June 1, moving its decision deadline from Oct. 10 to Nov. 9. Members voted to recommend reappointing Gregory Gauthier and Shane Halajko effective July 1.
